Serena began her ballet journey at the age of 9 under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) programme. In 2022, she successfully completed the RAD Advanced 2 syllabus. Since then, she has been actively involved in teaching ballet, guiding students from Baby Ballet to Graded and major levels. Her broad teaching experience has strengthened her classical foundation and deepened her passion for ballet education.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts (Performance Track), where she developed both her artistic expression and pedagogical understanding. Alongside her ballet training, Serena continues to expand her versatility in contemporary dance. She has performed with KTDC, ASK Dance Company, and The Actor’s Studio. As a choreographer, her works—5:4:3:2:1, Mariam, Searching, and Hakka—showcase her creativity, artistry, and distinctive choreographic voice.
Serena joined Tutu Toe Dance Academy with the wish to nurture young dancers with strong technique, discipline, and expressive artistry. She is also pursuing the RAD Teaching Certificate to further enhance her professional excellence.
As a teacher, Serena believes in creating a learning environment where students enjoy ballet while developing discipline, confidence, and a love for the art. She hopes to inspire her students to express themselves, build self-esteem, and discover the beauty of dance.
