Shirley Chen's love for classical ballet began at a young age. Her journey into the world of ballet started with her early training right here at Tutu Toe Dance Academy, where she fell in love with the art form. Since then, she has been on a dedicated path of learning and growth. Currently, Shirley is undergoing rigorous training in classical ballet through the Common Wealth Society of Teacher (CSTD) syllabus at Tutu Toe Dance Academy. Throughout her ballet journey, she also participated in several prestigious ballet competitions. These competitions allowed her to showcase her talent and dedication to the art of dance. Her competitive experience instilled in her a profound understanding of the importance of discipline and hard work in the world of ballet. In addition to her commitment to ballet, Shirley is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management and Economics (Honours). She firmly believes that talent can make a person shine, but it's the combination of talent and hard work that truly sets someone apart.
