Commencing his business journey in 2006, he entered the realm of commerce through employment with ADT Security as a sales representative. Despite possessing limited expertise and exposure at the outset, he diligently ascended the professional ladder. Zen epitomized unwavering resolve, eschewing the notion of mere occupational transience in favor of recognizing each role as a stepping stone towards personal triumph.

"I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I certainly exert the greatest effort," became a favored maxim of Zen's. Embarking door-to-door, he gleaned invaluable insights from each setback encountered. Eventually, his steadfast dedication bore fruit, catapulting him to the pinnacle of sales rankings in Malaysia by 2007.

In 2010, Zen seized the opportunity to acquire the agency for which he had toiled. Through relentless endeavor, his agency garnered recognition as the Top Rookie Agency in 2011. Undeterred, Zen persistently refined his enterprise, culminating in a commendable runner-up accolade in Malaysia by 2012.

Within a remarkably brief span, he transformed his solitary venture into a robust enterprise, employing a staff complement of up to ten individuals. Reflecting on his journey, he attributes the crux of his success to incremental self-improvement sustained day by day.

Zen's optimistic outlook beckoned yet another fortuitous juncture. Inspired by his wife Jess's fervor for

ballet instruction, he conceived a novel enterprise. With the collaborative support of Jess Foo and

Queennie Chng, fellow proponents of ballet pedagogy, Tutu Toe Dance Academy was established.

Presently spanning three locations in Kota Damansara, Desa Park City, and One Utama Shopping Centre,

this venture epitomizes Zen's commitment to fostering employee welfare and career advancement. Rooted

in his formative observations of limited professional growth avenues, Zen envisions expanding his brand to

nurture further opportunities for his workforce.

While Zen abstains from direct involvement in ballet instruction, his integral role as the company's linchpin is

irrefutable. As proprietor, he assumes the responsibility of cultivating an optimal learning environment and developmental prospects for students. Ever vigilant for avenues to showcase students' talents across

diverse platforms and arenas, Zen facilitates their participation in national and international

competitions, thereby empowering both faculty and pupils alike.

To this day, Zen's formative experiences as a salesman serve as a poignant reminder of

the virtue of humility. He eschews the stereotypical image of an aloof executive, preferring

instead to actively engage with clientele and staff. His approachability fosters a welcoming

atmosphere, wherein patrons and employees alike relish opportunities for discourse.
