Ms. Queennie Chng holds a TC registration with the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) and earned her Major Grade certificate in dance from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) at the age of 15. In 2018, she furthered her qualifications with Teaching Certificates from the Vaganova Dance Society in St. Petersburg and the Classical Dance Australia (CDA) under John Byrne.

 

Earlier, she attained the Gold Cross level in Freestyle Dance from the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD), where she was recognized as 'The Most Outstanding Student' across all levels. This achievement led her to begin teaching Modern Jazz in 2010, becoming the youngest instructor at the school. Over her dancing career, she has competed in numerous solo and group competitions in Line Dance and Modern Jazz, culminating in achievements such as 1st place in the Kickick Line Dance Competition and

4th place in the 3rd Malaysian Open Dance Fest 2011.

 

As the leader of the Professional Dance Team at Tutu Toe Dance Academy, Ms. Queennie has

consistently guided her team to success in both domestic and international competitions. In 2015,

she proudly sent her students to compete for the first time, with all soloists achieving remarkable

results. The following year, she took on the challenge of choreographing a Troupe Dance for a group

of 21 students, earning 1st place in the CSTD Domestic Competition in 2016 with their exceptional performance.

 

Ms. Queennie Chng firmly believes that dancing is an art form that fosters expression and contributes

to mental and physical development. Through sharing her passion with her students, she aims to

instill in them a deep appreciation for the performing arts and encourage holistic growth. As a

dedicated teacher, she leads by example, maintaining high standards in herself to inspire her

students to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives.
