CELINE CHAN

Senior Dance Instructor of TutuToe Dance Academy 

Celine Chan found her passion in ballet since 9 years old and had completed her RAD ballet. At the same time, she is also involved in Traditional Chinese dance, Contemporary and Ballet. Besides that, she was trained in Sydney Ballet Theatre majoring in ballet. She had joined various productions such as Nutcracker, Coppelia, Alice and the Aces, La Cosaire and etc. Since 18 years old she found passion in teaching and also, she trains student for international competition. In additional, Celine has participated in competitions, such as AGP, TDS, MIBGP and etc. She had been a judge in several competitions too. Based on education level, she had pursued degree in Psychology and ABRSM Diploma.

EVELYN PEH

Junior Dance Instructor of TutuToe Dance Academy 

Evelyn found her passion in performing arts and dance when she started her ballet journey at age 9 with Jean Gan Academy pursuing her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) grades. She began teaching ballet on a part time basis since she was 16 years old.

While she was in high school, her passion in dancing led her to explore different dance genres such as Contemporary, Lyrical, Chinese Classical, and Latin, where she was involved in various performances and competitions. Apart from her degree in Psychology, she continued to pursue her Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) Teacher Certificate at Tutu Toe Dance Studio. She truly believes that a dancer who is driven by passion and hard work will always shine on stage.

JAMIE GAN

Jamie cultivated her passion for dancing at Dancin’ Arts Academy since the age of 8, and has successfully completed her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) grades as well as vocational examinations in Classical Ballet. Besides that, she also completed Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) in Tap Dancing. Following that, she was actively involved in the dance society during her years in university, making good use of her talents and skills to perform and even choreographed a routine in their annual dance production. In 2012, Jamie discovered an interest in teaching and began to get involved in assisting and teaching classical ballet. She has never looked back since then.

Jamie is also a diverse dancer and a passionate learner. Beyond classical ballet and tap dancing, she has tried different dance styles, including Freestyle, Salsa and her last venture, Latin. She enjoys challenging herself and believes that dancing has no boundaries. Dance, if you want to dance.

JENNCINDY TIO

Senior Dance Instructor of TutuToe Dance Academy 

Jenny began studying dance at the age of 5 at Dua Space Dance Academy in Selangor, Malaysia. She trained in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Street Jazz, AcroDance and Traditional Chinese Dance.Jenny began her teaching career at the age of 18 and gained 6 years of experience to teach in kindergarten, private school, international school and ballet studio. Jenny absolutely loves sharing her knowledge of the stage with her students and seeing the growth of character work from start of the dance season to end. Her favourite lesson to teach is integration of character development into movement and letting that character work blossom to create a theatrical dance experience.

JOAN PEH

Joan Peh was joined into a dancing world since she was 5 years old. She has begun her dancing training with Royal Academy Dance (RAD) at Charming Dance Studio for 17 years and began assisting with classes in her freshman year of high school. In the meantime, she also learned other genres of dance such as Jazz, Chinese Dance, Line Dance etc. She has been trained as a ballet teacher since 2009 and started teaching RAD Ballet for Pre-primary, Primary, Grade 1-6 and major class as well. Since 2015, she continues pursuing for degree of Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) in Tutu Toe Dance Studio and her teacher courses training.

 

She emphasised on building strong technical dancers who are prepared to meet the challenges in the ever changing dance world and helping kids to enjoy dance and have a great time in every class. She aimed to empower students by making them more self-confident in their abilities as Joan believes that every one of us have the talents to dance. She is extremely excited to be a part of Tutu Toe Dance Studio family and to share her love of dance with all of the dance lovers.

SIMONE CHUNG

Senior Dance Instructor of TutuToe Dance Academy 

Simone Chung began her dance journey in classical ballet under Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) programme at the age of 5 in Charming Dance Centre. Following Miss Chau Ming Mei's passion and fondness in dance, she started her career as part time teacher since the age of 18. At the same time, she has also completed all Graded and Vocational syllabus in RAD. Simone also enjoys the flexibility of other genre of dances.

She performs for many small scale events with audience group ranging from 50 to more than 250, which includes Hip Hop, Breakdance, Traditional Dances, Line Dance and show performances. Moving forward, she started exploring Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) with Tutu Toe Dance Studio to continue pursuing for Teacher

Certificate. She believes that dancing is not just a form of art or performance, it is a form of expression. She believes every passionate dancer could express themselves in dancing, be it in classical or modern.

ZOEY ONG 

Junior Dance Instructor of TutuToe Dance Academy 

Zoey began learning classical ballet at the age of 4. She is currently undergoing training of classical ballet in both The Common Wealth Society of Teachers (CSTD) and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus at Tutu Toe Dance Academy. She also learned rhythmic gymnastics and competed in few international competitions. This year, she also started training gymnasts as a level 1 coach in rhythmic gymnastics to prepare them for local and international competitions. Besides that, she has been involved in assisting and teaching ballet since the age of 17. She is currently pursing for a bachelor degree in Sport and Exercise Science. She believes that great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion.
