
Tan Sze En’s journey in the world of classical ballet began at the young age of 4. Demonstrating her dedication early on, she achieved the prestigious RAD Advanced 2 certification by 17. By age 20, Sze En had furthered her ballet credentials, earning her Level 1 certification as a Vaganova Ballet teacher. She is currently pursuing teaching diplomas with both RAD and CSTD.

Beyond ballet, Sze En’s journey has been marked by a remarkable diversity of skills. She began rhythmic gymnastics at 7, where her hard work and talent led her to compete at the national MSSM competition. She has also showcased her skills as a finalist at the Malaysian International Ballet Grand Prix (MIBGP) and has earned gold medals in several other competitions. Her athletic versatility extends to Wushu, where she qualified to participate in the SUKMA games, Malaysia’s premier sports event.

Sze En has participated in various workshops, including the RAD Summer School and CSTD Summer School, further enhancing her knowledge and experience in dance. Alongside her dance journey, she is a part-time ballet teacher, sharing her expertise and love for dance with her students. She is a proud graduate with a Diploma in Accounting, showcasing her commitment to growth both in and outside the studio. For Sze En, dance is not just about perfecting technique—it’s about a lifelong commitment to resilience, discipline, and passion in every step.
