From the age of six, Amanda Phang embarked on her dance journey with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) program in classical ballet. By eight, she had joined the Majlis Sukan Negara Malaysia, further immersing herself in the world of dance. During her early teens, she pursued the Cecchetti International Classical Ballet syllabus, achieving her Advanced certification at Central Ballet Dance School by the age of 17.
Today, she balances her professional life as a full-time internal auditor, a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with her passion for dance. She teaches ballet part-time and is pursuing the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) qualifications at Tutu Toe Dance Studio.
Her love for performing has led her to gain extensive stage experience, participating in various dance competitions—ranging from inter-state to national levels—in ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, and Latin dance over nearly a decade. She believes that through dance, we discover much more; we are able to unlock the treasures of our minds and let our spirits soar.
