Ms. Jess Foo first put on a pair of dancing shoes at a young age of ten and obtained mostly Distinction in all Grades Ballet Examination. She has completed her RAD Advance 2 and she is also a Distinction holder in RAD Grade 8. Her love for dance, which allowed her to express herself, sparked her interest in the graceful moves of ballet. Thus, she began her dancing career at the tender age of seventeen. Her passion for dancing has made her a very motivated and experienced ballet instructor.
She has more than 10 years teaching experience.
In 2014, she obtained her teaching qualification from The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) and also Affiliate member of Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). In her teaching career, she won national awards for her outstanding choreography in many dance competitions for soloist as well as group. In addition, she is a choreographer in different dance studio and kindergarten annual concerts. Ballet has taught her work ethics and discipline which she believes can only be born from passion and high self-esteem which is crucial to empower an individual to expand the potentials to achieve excellence. She strongly encourage students take part in different dance competitions as well as summer school as important part of their physical and aesthetic education curriculum.
Along her patient guidance, her students have achieved 100% pass rates and most of the students achieved Distinction and Honors Plus in every examination. She believes in staying positive, energetic and encouraging while expecting her students to accomplish their own personal goals.
Ms. Queennie Chng is a registered teacher of Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD). She has also obtained her Major Grade Certificate in dancing from Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). In earlier years, Ms. Queennie Chng was trained in Charming Dance Centre and Taipan D'Dance World, majoring in Ballet, Jazz, Freestyle, Pointe and Line Dance.
In year 2010, she proved herself by achieving The Gold Cross Level of Freestyle Dance of National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD) and awarded as "The Most Outstanding Student" in all the levels, which gained her another record as the "Youngest Qualified Teacher" in Freestyle dancing.
Throughout her dancing years, she has participated several solo and group dance competitions majoring in Line Dance and Freestyle Dancing. Her highest achievement was Champion in Kickick Line Dance Competition and 4th placing in 3rd Malaysian Open Dance Festival, 2011.
In Ms. Queennie Chng, she believes dancing is an art of expression, which is crucial to mental and physiological development in multiple aspect of life. By sharing the same passion to her students, she believes her students will learn the expressionism of performing arts with the proportionate development in mental and physical demands.
As a passionate teacher, by maintaining high mental quality in herself, she sets good role model for her students to guide and inspire them to learn and achieve higher accomplishment in their life.
